1¼ cups boiling water
6 Lipton® Blackberry Vanilla tea bags
½ cup sugar
¾ cup Tassel Ridge Blackberry Wine
3 cups frozen blackberries, do not thaw
Place tea bags in medium container. Pour boiling water over bags. Steep for about 10 minutes. Remove tea bags. Add sugar and Tassel Ridge Blackberry Wine. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool completely. Once cooled, place in blender with blackberries. Blend until smooth. Pour into a 9 x 9 pan. Place in freezer for about 1 hour. Remove from freezer. Stir with fork. Return to freezer for 1 hour. Stir again with fork. Serve immediately or store in airtight container in freezer. (Can also be made in an ice cream maker.) Makes 4 ½-cup servings.
Wine Recommendation: Blackberry Wine.
Tassel Ridge Blackberry Wine is brimming with mellow berry flavors reminiscent of old fashion blackberry jam. In this recipe, blackberry adds deep, rich blackberry flavors that will make this a memorable dessert.
