Held in March in Rochester, New York, the 2017 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition judged 3,077 wines which were submitted by 621 wineries located in 16 different countries. This charitable wine competition benefits Camp Good Days and Special Times, which provides services for children with cancer or those who have a parent or sibling with cancer.

2013 Iowa St. Croix Rosé is a dry red rosé with strawberry, raspberry, peach, and nectarine notes and a slightly drying finish. Made entirely from St. Croix grapes grown in our Mahaska County, Iowa, vineyards, Iowa St. Croix Rosé pairs well with Asian stir-fry, Mexican dishes, and other spicy foods. Serve slightly chilled.
Iowa Candleglow® White is a dry, fruity white with pineapple, pear, melon, and apricot notes on the nose and palate and a finish that hints of green apple. This dry white is made from La Crescent, Brianna, and Edelweiss grapes grown in our Mahaska County, Iowa, vineyards. Serve Iowa Candleglow White with fish, chicken, or lightly seasoned pork, or just sip it by itself. Serve chilled.
Iowa In the Dark is a dry, light red with strawberry notes and toasty oak on the nose and palate followed by hints of caramel on the finish. A blend of Marquette, St Croix, and Frontenac grapes grown in our Mahaska County, Iowa vineyards. Iowa In the Dark is a nice food pairing wine. Try it with lightly seasoned meat. Serve at room temperature.
Rockets Glare Rosé® is a sweet rosé with cherry on the nose, bright red cherries on the palate, and green apple on the finish. Made from Sabrevois and La Crosse grapes grown in our Mahaska County, Iowa, vineyards, pair Rockets Glare Rosé with your favorite spicy foods. Serve chilled.
Iowa Marquette is a dry red with complex aromas and flavors and spicy notes on the finish. Made entirely from Marquette grapes grown in our Mahaska County, Iowa, vineyards and fermented in stainless tanks and then aged in French oak for a year and neutral barrels for nine months, Iowa Marquette pairs well with grilled meat. Serve at room temperature.
Iowa Brianna is a sweet white wine with apricot, peach, kiwi, and star-fruit on the nose, and pear, apple, and apricot on the palate. The acidity is perfectly balanced with the level of sweetness for a clean, lingering finish. Iowa Brianna pairs well with soft ripened cheese, salads that contain fruit, and aromatic spicy dishes like Thai or Indian cuisine. Serve chilled.
