The 2016 Iowa Nouveau was bottled on Wednesday, November 2. This dry red wine is very fruity. It is made entirely from grapes that were harvested in September and had therefore had no barrel aging. We will let it settle in the bottle until we release it on Thursday, November 17.
A very fruity dry red wine will complement Thanksgiving leftovers. In fact, the 2016 Iowa Nouveau will make a nice addition to leftovers.
While Iowa Nouveau is dry, it is so fruity that many people who only drink sweet wine will find it very tasty. And, dry wine lovers will find it acceptably dry. The 2016 Iowa Nouveau is a great compromise wine!
