On Monday afternoon, we will host the Winemaker’s Round Table. This will give 20 Iowa winemakers a chance to compare processes and results for making red wines from Petite Pearl, Sabrevois, and Frontenac. This is a good opportunity for all 20 attendees to learn from each other.
We will bottle our last batch of Oskyfizzante Cranberry for the season on Tuesday.
And, we are making a 2019 Iowa Marquette that is currently barrel ageing in French oak. This is a new barrel so we are monitoring its progress carefully with regular tastings. We think that the wine is pretty good.
