The vineyard crew will continue pulling Mulberry trees in the Tassel Ridge vineyard. The very wet ground makes this fairly easy. We will also be spraying fungicide as soon as it gets dry enough.
Some of the vineyard team will help bottle Oskyfizzante® Cranberry on Tuesday and the Cranberry Christmas Tree bottles on Thursday.
We are removing about 1,750 St. Croix vines to make room for Itasca and Verona which we will plant next spring. We start this process by removing the pencil rods and trellis hardware. The next step will be to bring a small tractor into the vineyard and pull each vine out by its roots.
As soon as we get the last fungicide spray on the vineyards, we’ll be cleaning and winterizing the sprayer.
