We have finished long pruning at Meadowcreek and Newport Lane Vineyards and will tackle our biggest vineyard at Tassel Ridge this week. We expect to have visitors and hope to have both a still photographer and a video photographer taking pictures of the mechanical pruner in action.
We did not get our Sulforix sprayed last week and will work between projected storms to get it done this week. We also need to start spraying herbicide under our vines soon. Both of these applications must be done before the vines start to bud out. We will also be fertilizing our vines soon.
