The Indy International Wine Competition was held in May at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Entries from 11 countries and 40 states were included in the overall judging with 1,672 wines entered in the commercial competition.
At the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition, held in March in Rochester, New York, 3,077 wines were submitted by 621 wineries located in 16 different countries. This charitable wine competition benefits Camp Good Days and Special Times, which provides services for children with cancer or those who have a parent or sibling with cancer.
