Your guests are about to arrive and you want to greet them with a nice appetizer that you can get ready quickly. Tassel Ridge Dipping Oils, a bottle of Tassel Ridge Rosé, and a baguette of partially baked French bread will fill the bill! A baguette of partially baked bread at room temperature takes 8 minutes to bake at 400°F (a frozen loaf takes about 15 minutes at 400°F). While the bread is baking, open your bottle of Tassel Ridge dipping oil and insert the pouring spout that comes with the bottle. Then, remove the bottle of Tassel Ridge rosé that you have been chilling in the fridge and you are just about ready to serve. After removing the bread from the oven, let it sit for about a minute before cutting it.

Dipping Oils with Bread

Tassel Ridge dipping oils make a great complement for our rosé wines.

We offer the following dipping oils: Herb It Up, Jalapeño Cilantro, Roasted Garlic, Spice It Up, Tomato Basil, and Traditional Italian. You can try all of these in the Tassel Ridge tasting room on your next visit.

We generally think of dipping oils in conjunction with Italian cuisine. Some people call them “Italian butter.” Dipping oils are versatile. You can use them as a marinade for chicken, or you can brush the dipping oil on baguette slices and toast them in your broiler to use as a side with your chicken.

A Tassel Ridge rosé is the perfect complement to a baguette and one of our dipping oils. If you like a dry wine, try our Iowa Marquette Rosé. If you like just a touch of sweetness, try our new 2013 Iowa St. Croix Rosé. A medium sweet rosé that will complement the dipping oils is our Steuben. Finally, if you want a sweet rosé, try our Rockets Glare Rosé®.

Tassel Ridge Dipping Oils are priced at $18.50 each in 375 ml bottles.
