Tassel Ridge lost a tree at our entrance and some damage to the trellis in our vineyard at the Winery. The building did not suffer any damage and we don’t know yet of damage at our three other vineyards. Although we have not been able to conduct a careful survey of all of our vineyards, we suspect that our worst damage was at the Tassel Ridge Vineyard. Some posts were snapped off at the ground. Keep in mind that these posts are treated 6-inch diameter posts so it took a lot of force to snap them off. But, we expect that we can replace the posts and tighten the wires and we’ll be okay. The vines came down but can be tied back up in place. We will do a careful survey this week and do whatever clean-up is needed.
We will also be mowing all vineyards and conducting whatever other maintenance is required.
