11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.—Wood Fired Oven Pizza
Take a walk through the vineyards at Tassel Ridge Winery with your family and/or friends and help fund the fight against cancer of all types. Proceeds will benefit ACS—Relay for Life. Registration is $25 before September 15 and $30 after that date and includes a T-shirt and a glass of wine, a soft drink, or a bottle of water. If you are unable to walk in the vineyards, you can participate in “Sip for a Cure.” Sit and sip a glass of wine, a soft drink, or a bottle of water and enjoy the view of the vineyards while watching the walk. “Sip for a Cure” participants will also receive a T-shirt. “Sip for a Cure” registration is $25 before September 15 and $30 after that date. T-shirts for registrations received after September 15 will not be available on October 3 but will be sent to participants two to three weeks after the walk.
It will be a wonderful time to take a stroll through the vineyards with family and/or friends and to help fund the fight against cancer. Form a team or walk individually in support of a cancer survivor, someone who is currently fighting the fight against cancer, or in memory of a loved one.
Hopefully, someday, no one will have to hear the words “you have cancer.”
After your walk, buy a Wood Fired Oven Pizza for $12 and enjoy it in the Tassel Ridge Winery Greenhouse. Tassel Ridge Winery will donate $1 for each pizza purchased from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to ACS—Relay for Life. Choose a Margherita Pizza made with Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, and Fresh Basil; a Pepperoni, Black Olive, and Shredded Mozzarella Pizza; an Arugula, Prosciutto, Pine Nut, and Shaved Parmesan Pizza; or a Ham, Pineapple, and Shredded Mozzarella Pizza.
