We’ve enjoyed a large harvest with outstanding fruit quality so far. All of the white grapes are harvested except for the La Crescent. We will focus on harvesting red grapes now. The big problem has been rain and overcast skies that have interrupted harvest and slowed fruit development.

Last week, we harvested Edelweiss followed by Foch and St. Croix. We finished up the St. Croix on Sunday and harvested La Crescent on Monday of this week. We also removed the netting on the Marquette Monday and plan to harvest the Marquette today. Later this month, we will start pounding posts at Tassel Ridge Vineyard and at Maple Woods Vineyard. This will allow us to expand these two vineyards by a total of about five acres. We will plant the grapes in May of 2017.
