We received juice to make American Steuben, Cranberry Wine, and American Pink Catawba on Monday and will start fermentations as soon as the juice temperatures get to about 60°F. Our titrator is all of a sudden not functioning, so we have to send all of our wine to Iowa State University for testing while we await the service technician. And, we are scheduling our last truckload of glass bottles for the season. Each truckload contains about 2700 cases (of 12 bottles each) and because we have a 150-day lead time on bottles, we have to plan ahead.
