Tassel Ridge® Star Spangled White® Syrup

(make syrup about 15 minutes before cake comes out of oven)

Ingredients

  • 1 stick (½ cup) butter, cut into ½ inch pieces
  • ¼ cup Star Spangled White
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Stir butter, water, and Star Spangled White in medium saucepan over medium heat until butter is melted. Add sugar. Continue stirring until sugar is dissolved. Increase heat to medium-high. Bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat. Set aside.
