Monroe County Historical Museum
Located in the “Electric Car Barn” which was used for maintenance of the electric cars for the Albia Interurban Electric Railway, this museum is filled with artifacts from 19th century homes, farms, and mines, including an exhibit of a reconstructed coal mining shaft with authentic equipment and real coal.
