Try a Rosé—A Nice Compromise Between Red and White Wines

If you usually drink red or white wine, but would like to try something different, try a rosé wine. Tassel Ridge Winery offers nine different rosés with varying degrees of sweetness, ranging from fully dry to very sweet. Rosé wines are a nice compromise between red and white wines. They are particularly appropriate when paired with the lighter foods of spring including Asian stir-fry, lightly seasoned grilled meats, tacos, enchiladas, ham, and pork. They are generally best served chilled.

Tassel Ridge rosé wines include (from dry to sweet): 2015 Iowa Marquette Rosé, 2013 Iowa St. Croix Rosé, American Pink Catawba, 2016 American Steuben, Sweet Roxie Red®, Oskyfizzante® Red, Oskyfizzante® Pink, Rockets Glare Rosé®, and Cranberry Wine.

All of the rosé wines are available at Tassel Ridge Winery and many of them are available at some of our over 400 retailers in Iowa. If you don’t see the Tassel Ridge rosé wine you want at your favorite retailer, ask the manager to get it for you.
