Des Moines’ KIOA Radio (93.3 FM) presents the Tassel Ridge Winery Recipe of the Week on Monday mornings at about 7:30 a.m. Chef Frank Tafta presents the recipe and whets listeners’ appetites and Bob Wersen talks about the wine that is either used in the recipe or recommended to pair with the recipe. Each broadcast is produced by Maxwell Schaeffer, Pam, and Amy and lasts about two minutes. Not only does each Recipe of the Week provide an enticing menu idea, but it also provides a snippet of wine education related to selecting wines that pair with certain foods.
