This is grilling season. It is warm and lots of events involve outdoor grilling.

If your preference is dry red wine when you grill, Tassel Ridge has you covered. We offer five different dry red wines that are excellent with grilled meats.

2021 Iowa Frontenac is a big, powerful, dry red wine that complements grilled beef steaks like rib-eyes. It was aged in American oak barrels for eleven months. We are very proud of this wine.

2021 Iowa Sabrevois was also aged in oak barrels. We only have a case or two of this wine left and it will be sold first come, first served. The 2021 Iowa Sabrevois is a dry red that offers spices and leather on the nose followed by blackberry and plum notes on the palate.

2021 Iowa Petite Pearl is a dry red that opens with dark fruit and a long, drying finish. It will complement grilled beef.

Iowa In the Dark is a dry red blend with up-front fruit and a long pleasing finish. This is a light red wine by comparison to the previous wines listed but it will pair nicely with grilled beef, chicken, and pork and also with burgers.

2021 Iowa Harvest Red is the fruitiest and lightest of these dry red wines. It offers plum and black cherry aromas and notes on the palate followed by a long and complex finish. This wine will complement grilled meats, pizza, and pasta dishes.

All five of these wines are made with grapes grown in Tassel Ridge vineyards.
