Rain makes spraying and moving any heavy equipment in the vineyards difficult if not impossible. So, we have been limited in what we can do. We have focused on tasks that involve people on foot in the vineyards removing suckers and tying up the Crimson Pearl at Meadowcreek, for example. We also got the Meadowcreek East vineyard cleaned up under the vines. And, the new vines we planted during the third week of June are all growing nicely in their protective grow tubes.

This week, we pumped water from our lagoons onto the landscaping around the Winery and continue removing suckers and tying up the vines. We continued cleaning out the weeds that are growing under our vines and then mowed as soon as the ground firmed up.
