Removing Mulberry Trees in the vineyard is challenging because they have to be pulled by the roots. So, damp ground makes it all much easier. While we are pulling Mulberry trees, if we encounter a post that has rotted off at the ground, we will dig it out and replace it with a new post. We are working now at both Maple Woods and Newport Lane Vineyards.

We are ordering chemicals for next spring’s needs and we will be irrigating our landscaping with water from our lagoons. Our objective is to drain much of the treated-process water before winter rains start.
