The Tassel Ridge Rockets Glare Rosé won the Best of Show medal at the American Fine Wine Rosé competition in Florida this week. Rockets Glare Rosé is a sweet rosé with cherry on the nose, bright red cherries on the palate, and green apple on the finish. Although it is very sweet, the green apple on the finish means that there is some acid to balance the sweetness. This wine is one of our five most popular wines month in and month out. It is best served well chilled. While it will complement spicy dishes, it is also very popular as a sipping wine.
In addition, Oskyfizzante® Cranberry won a double gold medal and Oskyfizzante Pink won a silver medal. Oskyfizzante Cranberry is a fizzy wine made entirely from cranberry juice. In warm weather, this wine is great well chilled and sipped but it can also be made into a delicious sangria.
Finally, the Oskyfizzante Pink won a silver medal. Oskyfizzante Pink is a sweet, fizzy wine with tropical fruit aromas including pineapple and lychee, followed by green apple and citrus on the palate. It is great for sipping and it pairs with milk chocolate.
