The vineyard team will start making harvest estimates for 2024. Because Tassel Ridge won’t need as many grapes this year, we will be trying to sell them to other wineries. The harvest estimate is a lot of work because it involves counting grapes in a few sample bunches, the bunches on a few sample vines, and then multiplying it all up for the total number of vines we have. This has to be done for each of the 16 varieties we grow.

We continue tucking and straightening up the Marquette vines and trellis. After last week’s rain, we will also be mowing our vineyards.
