Work in Tassel Ridge vineyards came to a halt last week. Ground temperatures were so low that we could no longer remove Mulberry Trees without them snapping off at the ground. Unfortunately, a tree that snaps off just grows back….with vigor so we have to pull them out by the root. We were also working on removing Edelweiss vines in Block A. We will resume this work in the spring.
We will use our time now to get government reporting done and to start annual preventative maintenance on tractors, Gators, and the harvester.
