We Finished Machine Pruning Marquette and Have Now Shifted to Machine Pruning Brianna

Last week, we finished machine pruning our Marquette and shifted to machine pruning Brianna. We also continued with final hand pruning of the Marquette. We plan to plant 450 Foch and 200 L’Acadie Blanc (this will be a new grape for us) vines in June and we are getting a portion of Meadowcreek Vineyard prepared for these vines. That involves running the post mower where the new vines will be planted then, as soon as the grass starts growing, we will spray with Roundup. We are also fabricating our own vineyard floor sprayer and hope to have that ready for use in the next week or so.
