We are taking advantage of the warming trend to get back out into our Sabrevois blocks at Maple Woods Vineyards to do finish pruning. We rough pruned these vines in December.
Both trucks and tractors are being fixed and we have been working on equipment in the cellar including our Nitrogen generator. A pump that we use only during harvest is not working, and we are making the decision to either repair or replace it.
And, we are actively looking for vineyard staff for this year. We would like to find 2–3 full time vineyard workers who would start helping with pruning in February and work until November.
