With Good Weather, We Perform Routine Winter Maintenance in the Vineyard This Week

With good weather forecast for this week, we expect to finish pulling the Mulberry trees at Tassel Ridge. We are almost done and finally, this vineyard block no longer looks like a young forest. We will also mow all vineyards. We will start our spraying of herbicide under the vines. We wait until the vines are dormant so we don’t injure them and until the ground temperature is well below 50°F. And, we will replace some trellis posts that were broken during harvest.
