This week, we will bottle about 600 cases of the very popular Red, White, & Blue. We will also begin cold stabilization of our American Pink Catawba, rack Cranberry Wine off yeast lees, taste the latest batch of Blackberry Wine to determine what we need to do next, and taste a new blend of what will become Iowa Pizzeria & Pasta, Too!®
Making wine is similar to painting. You spend hours cleaning, sanding, and masking, and then an hour or so to apply the paint. In wine making, you spend hours cleaning and sometimes, extra time deep cleaning. Last week, the task was to clean around the bottling line and this week it is general floor cleaning.
