Tassel Ridge Merry Christmas Drink
Ingredients
- 12 frozen cherries
- 12 dashes ground clove
- 12 dashes ground cinnamon
- 12 dashes ground nutmeg
- 4 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 oz cranberry juice
- 2 oz orange juice
- 10 oz Tassel Ridge Iowa In the Dark
Instructions

Combine cherries, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, cranberry juice, and orange juice in bowl. Microwave 1 minute. Remove and muddle cherries. Add Tassel Ridge Iowa In The Dark. Microwave for about 1½ minutes, do not let mixture bubble. Pour into mugs. Serves 2.
Recipe Notes
Iowa In the Dark is a light, dry, red wine with strawberry notes and toasty oak on the nose followed by hints of caramel on the finish. This wine is a blend of Marquette, St. Croix, and Frontenac grapes grown in our Mahaska County vineyards.
