We are monitoring the fermentation of the Brianna by first watching the tank temperature and we added the mid-life nutrients at the proper time. We were expecting to purchase some Foch grown by another grape grower but when he went to harvest, he didn’t really have any grapes!! This does happen, but fortunately not frequently. So, we checked out our only producing Foch vineyard. It is our oldest vineyard, it is not in good shape, but we may be able to hand harvest what we need. We continue to pick and harvest samples of grapes to see how ripe they are. Because our harvest is going to be light, we are calculating carefully so that we know exactly what we will need of each variety.
