Beat the Heat with Tassel Ridge® Beat the Heat Sangria!

Tassel Ridge Iowa Candleglow® Red has notes of cherry and plum that complement the cherry and pomegranate flavors and are a good balance for the citrus and pineapple in Beat the Heat Sangria.

Tassel Ridge® Beat the Heat Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 16-oz bottle Cran-Pomegranate juice
  • cups lemon-lime soda
  • 1 bottle Tassel Ridge® Iowa Candleglow® Red
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 20-oz can pineapple chunks
  • additional fruit slices of your choice for garnish, if desired

Instructions

  1. Combine Cran-Pomegranate juice and lemon-lime soda in pitcher. Add Tassel Ridge Iowa Candleglow® Red, lemon slices, lime slices, orange slices, and pineapple chunks. Stir gently. Refrigerate 12 to 24 hours or overnight. Serve over ice. Garnished with fruit slice. Serves 8–10.

    Chef’s Note—If Cran-Pomegranate is not available, substitute Cran-Cherry.
