Tassel Ridge Ultimate Nachos and Iowa St. Croix Rosé…a Perfect Combination for Entertaining

Tassel Ridge Iowa St. Croix Rosé, a dry rosé, is a perfect pairing for these Tassel Ridge Ultimate Nachos. Or if you prefer a sweeter rosé, try Steuben. Serve them as an appetizer or a light meal.

Tassel Ridge Ultimate Nachos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey or ground beef
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 2–3 Tbsp taco seasoning
  • ½ cup salsa
  • cup lime juice
  • 1 15-oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup minced fresh cilantro
  • tortilla chips, crushed if desired

Garnishes

  • shredded Cheddar cheese
  • shredded lettuce
  • chopped tomatoes
  • chopped avocados
  • chopped white or green onions
  • sliced black olives
  • sour cream
  • salsa and/or taco sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown meat and onion in skillet over medium-heat high. Combine taco seasoning and salsa. Mix into meat. Add lime juice. Simmer until thickened. Stir in beans. Top with fresh cilantro. Spread chips on plate. Top with meat mixture, shredded cheese, and your choice of garnishes. Serves 6–8 as an appetizer.
