Tassel Ridge Winery was just notified that three of its wines won medals in the Minnesota-based International Cold Climate Wine Competition. They are:
• Silver for Iowa Edelweiss
• Bronze for Iowa Candleglow® White
• Bronze for Iowa Pizzeria & Pasta Too!®
This competition is limited to wines that are made from cold climate grape varieties that were developed to survive the low temperatures common in the Upper Midwest each winter.
Iowa Edelweiss and Iowa Candleglow White both won Gold medals in the Iowa State Fair Commercial Wine Competition and Iowa Pizzeria & Pasta Too! won a silver medal.
