We started testing grapes on Monday and monitored both the grapes and the weather to determine when we can start picking. Brianna is usually the first to be ripe followed by Edelweiss. We have lots of Edelweiss so that will take some time. We loaded up the case goods room with wine so we don’t have to restock from the warehouse until after harvest. We will calibrate our pH probe and order sugar for our sweet wines. We will also thoroughly clean the harvester and are staying in touch with suppliers of grapes that we are purchasing to supplement what we grew.
