Tassel Ridge® Spicy Bacon Wrapped Breadsticks

Ingredients

  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 25 strips bacon
  • 25 thin, crisp breadsticks (grissini-style)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine brown sugar and cayenne pepper in small bowl. Put mixture on large plate. Set aside. Wrap a strip of bacon around length of each breadstick. Roll breadsticks in brown sugar mixture. Place in single layer on baking sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, or until bacon is crisp. Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes 25 breadsticks.
