This salad needs a wine that will complement the almond flavors without clashing with them. Tassel Ridge Iowa La Crescent offers some sweetness, so it works well with the almond flavors. A refreshing, semi-sweet white with tropical fruit, peach, pear, and grapefruit on the nose and tropical fruit, peach, and citrus on the palate, Iowa La Crescent is made entirely from La Crescent grapes grown in our Mahaska County, Iowa, vineyards. Pair it with chicken, fish, shellfish, and green salad, or enjoy it as an aperitif. Serve chilled.
